Highcliffe Holiday Caravan

The SCKPA owns a modern well-equipped caravan at Highcliffe-on-Sea near Bournemouth in Dorset, which is available to rent for fully paid-up members of the SCKPA. The friendly, family-run caravan site is within a few minutes of the sea, shops and restaurants and is set in a very attractive area.

A booking form is always included in the centre pages of Viva! Please use this form when possible.

Haemodialysis patients (sorry, hepatitis C patients cannot be catered for) should book as early as possible in the following way:

  • Telephone Margaret or Gerry and tell them you are on haemodialysis. The caravan will be provisionally booked for you.
  • Telephone the KC dialysis clinic in Southbourne and book a dialysis place.
  • Let Margaret/Gerry know that you have booked a dialysis place. They will then send you the booking forms and all other necessary details. Don't forget to inform them if you cannot get a place at KC.

Booking Conditions

Bookings will only be taken from fully paid-up members of the SCKPA. Please join before contacting the booking agent.

Rental is as shown above. The week runs from Saturday to Saturday with arrival at 2pm and departure at
10am

Patient members must be in residence with the party throughout the holiday to qualify for the above rates. Tenants must also comply with site regulations.

A non-returnable deposit of £50 per week is payable when booking the holiday.

The balance must be paid a minimum of four weeks prior to the holiday date, or the caravan may be
re-booked to another party.

One dog is allowed per holiday at a cost of £10 per week.

Any damage, breakages or extra costs incurred, without a legitimate reason, will be charged for.

The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy state. If not, any cost incurred will be charged to the member.

Requests for financial assistance towards a holiday should be made before the booking.
The SCKPA can only help with a one-week holiday.

When the above conditions are not met, the SCKPA Committee reserves the
right to refuse future bookings.
