Advisors and Therapists

Kidney Patient Advisors

Through the Kidney Patient Advisors we provide a Hardship Fund. This is available to all kidney patients who may be experiencing financial difficulties.

Our Kidney Patient Advisors are based at the Churchill and can be reached on 01865 226570. The chances are that they will be out "doing good" so please be prepared to leave a message.

Kidney Patient Advisors can advise on state benefits that may be available to kidney patients.  They can also offer support with housing, employment and other financial issues as well as supportive counselling for patients and their close family members.

Beauty & Holistic Therapists

Our therapists, funded by the SCKPA, visit all the renal units at least monthly where they can give advice and provide treatments as required.

Patients are invited to contribute to the cost of their treatment but this is entirely voluntary.

To see one of the therapists ask your nominated nurse or the manager of your renal unit.
