Coronavirus Information

COVID-19 information leaflet (v1.0 3-3-2020) from Oxford University Hospitals

Letter from Allie Thornley:

Dear Patient

I hope that you find the information leaflet about COVID-19 helpful. If you have any questions please ask them of your healthcare team

We appreciate that this is a rapidly changing situation and we will try our best to keep you up to date with current plans.

If a haemodialysis patient tests positive for COVID-19 we will provide your dialysis in a dedicated isolation area. This will be located in Oxford and we will organise your transport as necessary.  We will assess on a case by case basis, but it may be possible to reduce your dialysis to twice a week for the period of isolation.

I am sure you understand that it is important that we protect as many people as possible from exposure to the virus and apologise for any inconvenience that this causes.

Yours sincerely

Allie Thornley
